Happy Holidays 2023

Did you know that there are over two dozen holidays celebrated across the world between November 1st and January 15th?

So in the spirit of the season, I want to wish all of my readers everywhere a Happy Holiday season.

This will be the last post I make here this year.

I hope that you will take some time to celebrate whichever holidays you observe... and that you enjoy this time of year with your family and friends.

And let's meet back here next year to talk some more about our favorite DBMS... Db2!

Happy Holidays 2021-2022

Just a quick blog post to wish everybody a very happy holiday season. Whether you celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanza, or some other holiday season, all the best to you from me!

And a very Happy New Year to one and all. The past couple of years have been difficult and stressful for many, so here's a wish for a better 2022 for everybody.

I plan to take some time off over the last week of 2021 through New Year's Day, but I'll see you all again on the other side of the holiday season.

Happy Holidays 2018

It is hard to believe that yet another year has come and gone (well, almost) and that the holiday season is once again upon us. And that means it is time to reflect on the past year -- including all that we have accomplished and what is yet to be done.

And importantly, it is also time to wind down and relax with friends, family and loved ones.  A time to put down the work that consumes us most of the year and to celebrate and enjoy...

So whatever holiday tradition you celebrate, be sure to celebrate well, wave goodbye to 2018 and ring in the New Year with happiness and anticipation...

...and I'll see you back here on the blog in the New Year, 2019!

Seasons Greetings 2017

It is that time of year again... A time to reflect on the year gone by and to enjoy time with our friends, family and loved ones.  A time to put down the work that consumes us most of the year and to celebrate and enjoy... to remember past years and to consider the upcoming year.

No matter what holiday tradition you celebrate, I wish you an enjoyable holiday season. Seasons greeting to one and all... and I'll see you next year here on the Db2 Portal blog!

Happy Holidays!

Well, it is that time of year again. The days are shorter and the weather is colder... even if it isn't as cold as normal it is colder than it was in July! And most people are taking the time to celebrate the holiday season.

Here's wishing each and every one of my readers a happy holiday... regardless of your chosen season to celebrate! Whether you celebrate Chanukah, Christmas, Kwanzaa, the Winter Solstice, Saturnalia, or just the end of another year on Planet Earth, I'm with you, and celebrating my good fortune, great family and friends, and you, my regular blog readers. I appreciate and thank you all...

This will be the final post of the year (2015) for this blog, but be sure to join me again next year - 2016 - as we continue to examine all aspects of everybody's favorite DBMS... IBM's DB2...

Happy Holidays

Just a brief posting today to wish everyone a very happy holiday season.

I am taking some down time thru the end of the year to visit family "up North."

So, until next year, may your databases run without a glitch and here's hoping you all have an enjoyable holiday!
